Update on State’s Minimum Wage in 2021

It’s the middle of 2021 and ClearPath has your state-by-state (and city-by-city in some cases) for minimum wage rate increases. With the federal minimum wage rate unchanged since 2009, states have taken it upon themselves to increase the minimum wage. Currently, the federal minimum wage is $7.25. Many states and cities will see updated rates by mid-2021. Is your state or city’s minimum wage increasing again?  If you employ workers, you should check to see if the minimum wage is going up in your area.

Employers need to ensure they are following the appropriate ordinances to stay out of hot water. Semi-annually, ClearPath updates its Minimum Wage Cheat Sheet so you can stay current. To get a complete listing of city/state minimum wage requirements click here.
